About Department
Kanchi Shri Krishna college of arts and science was founded in the year 1994-95. Our department was started in the academic year 2003-04. The UG degree B.Sc in physics was introduced with 15 students and English is the medium of instruction. Well-equipped Lab facilities are available in the Department of Physics. The members of the staff encourage and inspire the students to pursue higher studies and in the research field.
Vision
To establish a platform for the dissemination and creation of knowledge through teaching and research in Physics at various levels. To help create a scientific society that encourages logical thinking.
Mission
To offer state-of-the-art Academic Programmes in Physics and in interdisciplinary areas. To create human resources with a strong foundation in Physics that can be applied to wide areas in Science and Technology. To motivate students towards research in Physics as well as in interdisciplinary areas.
